Crown Princess Victoria and Princess Estelle’s Matching Dresses

Crown Princess Victoria and Princess Estelle: Fashion Twins

Before Kate started doing it with Prince George, Crown Princess was, and has been, dressing her sweet daughter Estelle that match the outfits she herself once wore as a wee babe.

Without sounding too much like my mom… I must say, this is one royal trend I can get behind. It also helps that the dresses Victoria once wore were absolutely precious.

I’m not completely sure, but I think Victoria has replicates of her dresses made, I don’t think they are the original. But I could be wrong…

Nonetheless, the two share an uncanny resemblance, and have similar sassy personalities!

victoria is doing a great job raising estelle, shes always happy and relaxed with her and she never keeps her hidden from the world, but kate and william are horrible parents, they always look stressed out with their kid and george is always hidden away, hes practically a stranger everytime he pops out of his hiding hole!

The dresses are original 35-year-old ones, it would be incredibly bothersome copying them for no reason, especially since they are pretty outdated, though cute. There’s nothing wrong with using inherited clothes, done in the best families. If only used at one special occasion and children growing out of them it makes perfect sense. The Swedish royal family also reuses some old ball gowns, sometimes slightly changed, but still noted by magazines as resourceful.

The christening gown is the same gown it’s been used since 1906 and worn by every royal baby in Sweden, the others I’m not sure they should be the same or remakes, but the one for sure is the same gown. That I do know.
